Setting up email in Mac Mail

Follow these steps to manually configure your email account in the Mac Mail app:

1. Open the Mail app.
2. From the top menu, select Mail > Add Account...
3. Choose Other Mail Account... and click Continue.
4. Enter the following details:
   • Full Name: As you want it to appear to recipients
   • Email Address: Provided in your welcome email
   • Password: Provided in your welcome email
5. Click Sign In — it’s expected that this will fail.
6. Enter the remaining details manually:
   • User Name: Provided in your welcome email
   • Account Type: IMAP
   • Incoming Mail Server: Provided in your welcome email
   • Outgoing Mail Server: Provided in your welcome email
7. When prompted to select apps to use with the account, ensure Mail is checked (Notes is optional).
8. Click Done.
