Setting up email on Android

Follow these steps to manually configure your email account on an Android device:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen to access your apps, then tap Settings.
  2. In the Settings menu, scroll down and tap Accounts or Passwords & Accounts.
  3. Tap Add Account.
  4. Select Personal (IMAP) when prompted for the account type.
  5. Enter your full email address (Provided in your welcome email), then tap Next.
  6. Enter your password (provided in your welcome email), then tap Next.

💡 Tip: Tap the eye icon to show your password and ensure it’s entered correctly.

Incoming Server Settings​

  1. Review and update the following:
    • Username: Provided in your welcome email
    • Password: Should auto-fill
    • Server: Provided in your welcome email
  2. Tap Next.

Outgoing Server Settings​

  1. Enter the following:
    • Username: Provided in your welcome email
    • Password: Should auto-fill
    • SMTP Server: Provided in your welcome email
  2. Tap Next.

Account Options​

  1. Configure the following options to your preference:
  • Sync frequency – How often to sync your email
  • Notify me when email arrives – Toggle on to receive notifications
  • Sync email for this account – Toggle on to enable sync
  • Download attachments via Wi-Fi only – Recommended to save data
  1. Tap Next.

🎉 You're all set!​

Your email account is now configured and ready to use on Android. If email doesn’t load right away, open the Mail app and manually refresh.
